What the audit said

No exceptions found across seven itemized statute controls. LOGIS used a control-by-control testing table (policy review, ALPR system screen prints, staff interviews), a more structured format than the two dominant firms. LOGIS states it has no direct access to the live system and reviews agency-provided screen prints.

FinePrint notes

Auditor Blake Tyra, LOGIS Information Security Specialist (same auditor as St. Paul's LOGIS audit). Missed in the initial census; found via a LOGIS footprint check. LOGIS is a joint-powers IT consortium serving member cities, so it audits its own members, the same structural conflict flagged for MNSec.

Recorded findings appear in green because a finding is evidence the auditor actually examined the program. A report with nothing at all appears in red.

Every agency operating an ALPR in Minnesota must arrange an independent audit every two years under Minn. Stat. § 13.824, subd. 6.
