Paragon's Owner Got $5.6M from General Dynamics in July. The Filing Doesn't Say Who Paid.

General Dynamics Information Technology issued a $5.6 million subcontract to REDLattice on July 15, according to a SAM.gov subaward record surfaced by Jack Poulson. REDLattice is the Chantilly, Virginia offensive cyber firm that bought Paragon Solutions, maker of the Graphite spyware, in December 2024.

The record lists the work as "Products" under the Software Publishers NAICS code. It does not name the prime contract or the agency paying for it.

In May, DHS told NPR that ICE has "no relationship" with Paragon or the company that acquired it. The direct ICE contract closed January 20. A subaward through a systems integrator like GDIT is one way federal money reaches a vendor without either name appearing on an agency contract. Whether this one traces to DHS, the Pentagon, or somewhere else is the open question.
