St. Louis Park's license plate cameras were pulled into nationwide immigration searches, and a Texas abortion case
The city's own Flock Safety records show outside agencies searched its cameras for immigration enforcement 2,637 times, and once for a woman who had an abortion. St. Louis Park says it has since blocked such searches, and points to serious cases the cameras helped solve when justifying their use.
